As a big tennis player, I've got to write a little piece about Novak Djokovic. There are so many different angles to talk about but it really comes down to this one thing…

There’s now no doubt he is the best tennis player ever and it's an absolute joy to watch the best ever play the game.

No, Djokovic doesn't have the power and grace of Federer or the beauty and defense of Nadal (not that he is too far behind), but he literally has everything else to the max. There are just no flaws to his game. He’d literally have 99s in every category on Madden if he were a football player.

I'm glad in the twilight of his career he's getting the credit and attention he deserves. He lived in the shadow of Federer and Nadal and never got near the fan support that he deserved and earned.

It always bothered him, too - and still does frankly. It's one of the main reasons why he wants to destroy the record books, and he will if he can stay healthy for a few more years. I think he'll call it at 40 and win 3 more titles (which is a hall of fame career on its own).

Since 2011 - the past 13 years - there have been 52 majors. He was absent in 3 of them, and 1 he got disqualified as a major favorite. He was recovering from his wrist injury for about 5 of them and wasn’t even close to full strength... so if you do the math, at full strength roughly 43 of them - he has won 23 titles and was in the finals of 10 more. That’s over a 50% winning title percentage and over 75% making the finals or better percentage. WOW.

Just let those numbers sink in for a minute. They are literally inconceivable. He never loses! And, it is not like he’s playing cupcakes - these are all majors and the best players only!

Congrats to Novak. Well earned.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL IN A BREEZE

- Does college football finally have parity?! With Texas winning, USC cruising, FSU overpowering, Michigan rising, it appears to me that this is a wide open season. Sure, Georgia will be there as they play no one, but you could legit make a strong case for about 12 teams to make a run into the final 4. ND is legit. USC is legit. PSU could be legit. Texas is legit. FSU is legit. OSU is always legit. That seems like a lot more teams than the normal big three or four.

- Alabama is on the decline. There I said it. Saban's dynasty run looks over (I'm not going that far just yet) but Bama keeps getting slightly worse and worse. This doesn't look like a final four team again. Georgia is taking their recruits and now is officially the class of the SEC and the country.

- Texas on the other hand appears to be on the rise and with their remaining schedule could go on a run... but its Texas so don’t jump on that bandwagon just yet. They will blow it somewhere!

- Wisconsin better be careful what they wish for... it's obviously early, but Fickell is trying to put a round peg (air it out) in a square hole (run the ball program) and that's almost always never a good thing.

MICHIGAN -40 vs BOWLING GREEN PREDICTION:

Two games in and two non-surprising blowouts. Let’s be honest, blowouts are fun and relaxing, but they are also boring. But, I guess I’ll take them now as it’s going to get tougher… just not this week.

For the third straight week Michigan will jump out to a big lead but won’t cover. I’d like to see our 2nd team really open up the playbook and build some confidence. It matters. I’d also like to see us throw a bomb to get some practice, and a turnover or two for some quick scores would be nice!

Michigan Prediction: 48-10 (2-0 so far)

Mortal Lock (2-0 so far): Last week nailed Liberty. This week give me Georgia Tech +19
